Creative filters For Photography Outdoor

The category of creative filters is very wide. Widely used in analogue photography, they have lost much of their appeal in the digital for the opportunity to apply in post production.

In commerce, in each case, one can find filters for optical effects, for special effects (deformation), which add to the diffraction light, and so forth. In the images below an overview of these filters

The diffracting filter for example has the function to decompose the light spectrum without deforming the image the filter glass is etched by hundreds of thousands of small prismatic grooves. By making a photograph of a scene where there are lights, this is the effect that we would get

The cross-screen filter is a transparent filter on which were made of thin cross engraving. The net effect on the photograph is a modification of lights that turn from bright spots in stars more points (depending on the used filter type). Here’s an example

the first two classes (600 and 700 nm) does not totally block the visible light and therefore they are obtained by shooting in color, with shades very special, complicated also to reproduce in the post-production phase (color infrared)

The filter diffuser or soft filter serves to soften the image. The filter cancels the high clarity of objectives without affecting the focus. It is often used to remove skin blemishes in portraits without resorting to editing

The spit-field filter is composed of a transparent lens with in addition a half additional lens which allows to focus on two distant elements between them, without closing the aperture.

The class of filters up to up to 900 nm also called black or dark block all visible light the picture that emerges is totally red (and thus, balanced, totally white and black).

The multiface filter has the function of replicate objects. Notice the multiplied balloons. The picture quality is not a more or less dark gray (in 1882 the green-sensitive emulsions were created in 1903 to orange and finally in 1905 to red). These plates were also very fast it was enough to impress them a shutter speed of just 1100 of a second.

Even the diffusion filters are employed in portraiture to soften lines and defects of the people.

Once balanced, here is the result

And here, finally, the same photograph in three colors different color, black and white and infrared.
